Who can buy?
- Indonesian citizens — including those living and working in Singapore or Malaysia — can buy directly. The house comes with an HGB (Right to Build) certificate.
- Foreign nationals cannot hold HGB title personally. Indonesian law lets foreigners own a house only under a Hak Pakai (Right to Use) title, subject to a minimum price set by the government for each province. If you are a foreign national, or married to an Indonesian, ask a notary (PPAT) about your options before booking.
