Batam Trip Planner 2026: Itinerary, Costs & Travel Times

Tell us where you're coming from, what you're into and your dates — a day-by-day plan with travel times and estimated costs is built right on your phone.

Updated:

In short: The Batam Trip Planner builds an itinerary from real places in the BATAM.co.id directory: opening hours, travel times from OpenStreetMap roads plus rush-hour factors, ride-hail fares from the Indonesian transport ministry's tariff, dated taxi and hotel price ranges, and official ferry timetables. All figures are estimates — please double-check with the provider.

Privacy: your plan is worked out on your own device. Your last choices stay in this browser only (“Start over” clears them); we count anonymous button taps such as origin and interests — never your name, dates or location. Privacy policy (Indonesian)

The planner only uses places that really exist in our directory. Choose where you’re coming from (Singapore, Johor, elsewhere in Indonesia, or already in Batam), what you’re into and your dates. Everything is calculated on your phone — no account, and your plan is never sent to our server. Save it or share it as a link.

Every plan comes in three versions: Budget (budget hotel, motorbike ride-hail for short hops), Standard (3-star hotel, taxis) and Comfort (4-star hotel, a slower pace). The suggested hotel is a real hotel from our directory, chosen by its Google rating and how close it is to your ferry terminal or airport home — with its phone or WhatsApp so you can book directly, the room price range and two alternatives. Fixed appointments such as a meeting or a wedding stay locked at their time; the planner works out when you need to leave and flags it when there is not enough time. Mosques are visited outside prayer times, and your last day counts back from your ferry or flight.

How to use the planner

  1. Choose where you’re coming from: Singapore (pick the terminal and ferry), Johor, elsewhere in Indonesia, or already in Batam.
  2. Pick your interests: sightseeing, food, shopping, kids, mosques & temples, or beaches & nature.
  3. Set the date, nights and group size, then tap Build my plan.
  4. Compare Budget, Standard and Comfort, open each day, call or WhatsApp the places, and share the plan as a link or QR code.
